
Ethical Rules and Guidelines . General Responsibilities. A Medical practitioner and holistic therapist shall provide honesty quality care, competent and accountable professional consultancy,and therapeutic and otherwise as 1st contact practitioner to any person who may seek or may be in need of the same.The medical practitioner should administer only such treatment that is in the interest of the patient with the responsibility for the exercise of sound judgement with diligence. Shall respect the dignity and basic rights of the patient and professional colleagues.Shall refer the patient to the appropriate specialists whenever the problems/ symptoms of the diseases of the patient so demand. Medical treatment management shall have the prior consent of the patient/ relative if required about the problem and specific treatment management of that individual's problems if required.

Advisory Committees. C E C of A M A I shall appoint special committees to serve the association in a purely advisory capacity .Each of these committees shall include at least one member from EC who will also act as coordinating Convener (If more than one Executive Council member is included, the senior most member of the association from among them will serves as the coordinating Convener unless he declines to do so )The term of office of the advisory committees shall be for C E C term .They may however ,be reconstituted after a lapse of C E C term.



Medical Practitioner shall maintain the secrecy of the patients disease and shall not divulge the same to any other individual except to professional colleagues during scientific case discussions / meeting. Shall provide accurate information to the patient or next relative if required about the problem and specific management of treatment of that individual's problem if required.
